were received over an eight month period.

His mother, her boyfriend, and their lodger, were all convicted of causing or allowing the death of
a child. Following the conviction, three inquiries and a nationwide review of social service care
were launched.

Baby Peter was seen by GPs, had been admitted to hospital and seen by others doctors and was also
known to social services, yet through an acknowledged catalogue of errors, he was not protected and
on 3 August 2007 he was found dead in his cot.

This tragic story shocked the United Kingdom and his story was been told around the world.
