Baby P was a 17 month old little boy who sadly died in London after suffering over 50 injuries over

were received over an eight month period.
His mother, her boyfriend, and their lodger, were all convicted of causing or allowing the death of
a child. Following the conviction, three inquiries and a nationwide review of social service care
were launched.
Baby Peter was seen by GPs, had been admitted to hospital and seen by others doctors and was also
known to social services, yet through an acknowledged catalogue of errors, he was not protected and
on 3 August 2007 he was found dead in his cot.
This tragic story shocked the United Kingdom and his story was been told around the world.

Our babies are a blessing, mistreating them is unforgivable! Jail sentences should be until death for those who harm our youngsters. Forgiveness and freedom should not be an option. The pain inflicted on the little ones should be re-inacted on the criminal. If there was more fear of wrong doing maybe people would think twice before hurting anyone, especially a helpless baby.
Sweet Peter, my pain upon hearing your story has consumed me...if I knew you, I would have done anything to protect you...even though I no longer live in England it pains me everyday, as it happens in my country too. Your suffering was horrible, not fair and still your government lets you down.
I can't stop thinking about you and I promise to commit to helping unfortunate youngsters like yourself.
You are safe now sweet boy...not a day will end for the rest of my life that I will not say a prayer for you.
Until we meet my darling, sweet dreams, you're in a better place now, surrounded by love.

I just switched the computer on, only to read the news that Jason Owen had his sentenced reduced. I am sobbing and feel sick and simply cannot believe it! He tortured his own brother as a child and also his own grandmother and now they believe all he did was not stepping in to save you, I can't believe those judges. How naive and stupid can they get??
I am SO sorry, once again, my beautiful boy. There really is no justice. The sentences those three monsters got were far too short and now one of them has won his appeal. I don't really know what else to say.
Just be sure that I love you and will never forget about you, my beautiful, brave boy.
